Dar Mida is a hidden treasure offering spectacular views over Mida Creek in Watamu. The villa is a 3 storey i.e. ground floor, first floor and roof top bar/dining area. The Dar Mida property is a mixture of Swahili - Marrocan style tastefully designed with unique pieces from the entire African Continent.
The size of the swimming pool is aprox 16 X 8 meters plus the horse shoe area to the right of the pool which is wonderful for small children. There is a step inside the entire pool area, so one can always stand or sit in the pool. There are 4 beds around the pool area, a round table with umbrella and chairs where meals can be enjoyed and a peaceful gazebo overlooking Mida Creek. Outdoor shower by the swimming pool.
Each bedroom has ceiling and stand fans, the 2 bedrooms downstairs are en-suite with shower and toilet; the one bedroom on first floor has a toilet and hand basin. The dining room downstairs has a table that seats 6 and one round table that seats 4.
The upstairs roof top bar/dining area has 2 round tables that each comfortably seat 4 people so you can enjoy magical candle lit dinners under the african stars. The staff can arrange with local fishermen for fish to be brought to the house and also cook the fish however the clients wish.
There are 2 gardeners for the tropical garden and a G4 night security guard, alarm and panic buttons. The entire property is fenced in, ideal for families, small private groups, writers, Honeymooners and people learning to scuba dive. There is also a 10 kva generator. The nearest beach is Watamu Beach, approx 400 meters.
There is a healthy selection of books for clients to read, cards and other games to play, binoculars at the roof top bar / dining area and a music system that can be set up if requested.
